Cosne, a geographical crossroads

Cosne-Cours-sur-Loire is strategically located on the main north-south and east-west routes on the border between the Burgundy and Centre regions and at the confluence of the Loire and the Nohain. Situated on the edge of the Nièvre, Cosne also has an influence on the Cher, Yonne and Loiret districts.

At the gateway to the Berry, Pays Fort, Puisaye and Sancerre regions, bathed by Europe's last great natural river, Cosne, a town in bloom, flourishes as a key member of the Loire-et-Nohain municipal federation.
